Welcome to the Bergen Scottish Society website.
A warm welcome to the home page of the Bergen Scottish Society. Here you can discover what events and activities we organise for members and friends, and of course we hope you come and join us.
The Bergen Scottish Society was founded on the 28th of April 2005 and is officially registered at the Brønnøysund Register Centre, with the organisation number 988 639 958.
The aim of the Society is to promote and celebrate Scottish culture. It is open to all those who would like to take part in song, dance, ceilidhs and other festivities and activities which we can say are long standing traditions 'back home'.
In particular we appeal of course to ex-patriates from Scotland, other folk who love our traditions and of course many Norwegians who have travelled or lived in Scotland and to whom it still has a special place in their hearts.
So whether you are from Motherwell or Morvik, Falkirk or Fana, Skansen or Stornoway we hope you come and join us in celebration of Scottish traditions!
