Chairperson: James Hosea

James was a founding member of the Society in 2005 and this is his second stint as Chairperson.

Originally from Helensburgh on the west coast of Scotland, he moved to Bergen from London in 2002 to take a masters' degree and quickly felt at home with the rain, sea and mountains of western Norway.

As well as playing the bass drum in Bergen Pipes and Drums, James is also active as a turleder in Bergen og Hordaland Turlag.
