Constitution
The Society is run in accordance with its constitution.
In practice the Society's constitution is actually two documents: the Articles of Association and the By-Laws.
The Articles of Association are the regulations governing the relationships between members and the Committee, and were established when the Society was founded.
The By-Laws provide a set of rules for the day-to-day running of the Society.
Amendments to these can only be carried out at the Society's Annual General Meeting (AGM) or at an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), in accordance with the rules outlined in the documents themselves.
